Is it weird to have a fear of losing a parent?

Like we know its going to happen but the though can literally bring me to tears.
She isn't sick or anything but just the thought makes me sad.

It probably also has to do with the fact that i have no one else in this world.

When it does happen, it will be a very sad day

Nothing is weird when it comes to attachment to someone. That's pretty rational. If you have loving parents or a loving parent, there's nothing else in the world that can beat it. Home is where our personalities and our character develops. Parents are the craftsmen, mentors, guides and friends. They can't be replaced.
