@SW-User In my case, I'm specifically thinking what it would be like if I hadn't been kidnapped as a child, and if I could just feel happy with someone and not constantly anticipate betrayal and abandonment.

@Xuan12 I don't think "normal" exists. We are all shaped by external forces and events. I wish you well for the future but don't strive to achieve the unattainable.
