I guess it would depend on how Ill the kid is. If I were a parent, I would of course want to stay home and take care of my child but after reading through these comments I can look at a different perspective and see it’s not always that black and white and not everyone is fortunate to do that. Obviously if the child is seriously ill or even throwing up something along those lines I think it’s your duty as a parent to keep them home regardless of what’s going on but a minor cold or something small I can see maybe being a bit more understanding towards as far as not being able to get off of work or something. I think it really all depends but I think the best thing is to keep them home for many reasons but that’s sadly not always an option. When growing up as a small child we lived with my grandma so she was always home. once we moved and as I got a bit older if I were sick I’d stay home by myself. 🤷🏽♀️
