Is it weird...

To ask my 16 year old son to take me to the ballet. I don't have friends and if I asked a man he would want payment in kind.

Why would you have to pay a man to take you
RemovedUsername634280 · 41-45, F
@SW-User not money, he would want something in return...sex

@RemovedUsername634280 oh. Well not all men are like that.
RemovedUsername634280 · 41-45, F
@SW-User you would be supprised how many are.

That's the least he can do for you considering all you provide him. We need to expose teens to the arts.

My mother would buy symphony tickets and alternate between female friends and us kids as her companions.. Was cool.

It would be proper and educational for him too. Ask him to escort you!

Anyone wanting anything in return for a favour ain't no friend. Male or female. Nothing wrong to ask u r son. Atleast u can trust him
RemovedUsername634280 · 41-45, F
@Thingschange4444 very true I think I will ask him tomorrow.

Not necesarily if he is a ballet lover.
CharlieZ · 70-79, M
@RemovedUsername634280 I was not thinking about your son.
I´ve tryed to say that a man who also enjoy ballet would not ask anything else but sharing art in good company
RemovedUsername634280 · 41-45, F
@CharlieZ there is no man I could ask who would like ballet or anything like that

My 16 and 18 year old sons are going to see the ballet with me, so no, it isn't weird at all.
Poppapepe · 51-55, MVIP
I would pay, plus I would consider it a pure privilege to be arm and arm with you ☺️

@Poppapepe 😊

@RemovedUsername634280 THIS versión of Carmen, performed by Maia whith choreography from Alexander Plisetski, her brother, is my favorite from all
RemovedUsername634280 · 41-45, F
@CharlieZ I saw Carmen performed a few years ago now this one though has a whole new take on it very original. The one I saw was set in a bar.

@RemovedUsername634280 Interesting !
turbineman40 · 80-89, M
I would jump at the chance to take you/ escort you with flowers too, to the ballet
Try offering dinner .... Seems a little less obnoxious.
Shutter · 51-55, M
Take you to the ballet or go with you to the ballet? There's a difference.
RemovedUsername634280 · 41-45, F
@Shutter take me
lizzy96 · 26-30, F
you don't drive?
RemovedUsername634280 · 41-45, F
@lizzy96 no I tried to learn but kept failing the theory so I just couldn't be bothered anymore. Plus being driven around is so much more relaxing lol
RemovedUsername845031 · 56-60, M
I would take you. No strings.
