So my son in is a relationship with a girl

Turns out before he met her she was involved with a sexual assault on a minor. Her ex boyfriend convicted;so far charges on her dropped but not allowed in school. I don’t know if this was wrong place wrong time bad decision trying to impress a bad boyfriend. Or any hard details or facts. Nor will I be able to get them.

So. Now I have to have a conversation with him. That he needs to think about his future.

I don’t want to be that kinda parent where I say you can’t go out with him or her.

It's not like you can successfully dig your heels in and say you can't see her without major blowback. All you can do is find out as much as you can and keeping them both close to shape their thinking.
