Nope. Some parents don’t know who’s boss these days, and that’s sad to let a child get away with taking lead, and demand things go their way. Kids need discipline. They don’t respect parents who do not. You’re not being mean if you discipline your kids. They need boundaries, or they’ll cross them later in life, maybe even ending up in jail or worse. They would never admit it, but they want those boundaries. It shows them that someone cares!
