I'm a father and a husband but am still surprised at how many women want to be mothers.

Ladies don't need me to tell them the pain and trauma involved. Obviously it was expected a few generations ago, but why nowadays?

Apart from intervention if medically necessary or life threatening women have been made to cope with this and it's a pain soon forgotten when you hold that bundle of joy in your arms.
