Very down and not feeling like myself

Okayy so my baby was born on june 1st.shes an absolute joy! Shes such an easy baby...laughs a lot and only cries when shes hungry or tired and wants to be put down...however, for a while ive been feeling down and i dont know why. I know Im extremely tired, but thats normal my baby is almost 4 months old. Ive been reading a lot online and came across things such as ppd. But i read that women with ppd dont bond with their baby whilst im absolutely crazy about my baby! I miss her when shes not around....anybody experiences the same thing? Could it be a beginning of ppd? Or will it just fade away over time??

You can still bond and have ppd. If you are still feeling this way after this amount of time though I would talk to your doc about it. I know someone with it and they bond with their children but still needed to be on medication for it.

@canusernamebemyusername thqnk you for your message...im not sure if that is what it is..but i am feelibg down...i always thought that women with ppd dont bond with their baby....actually it started since a few weeks or so
@WildwoodFlower Everybody can react different to stuff and might not fit the definition. But having a baby is rough on the body and biochemistry. It can def cause changes in your brain. If it keeps up or gets worse certainly see someone about it. Also being tired from a new baby isn't helping I'm sure. The person I know had to be put on Zoloft for hers.
