Darn Skippy they should, along with cleaning house, mowing the lawn, doing the laundry.
I think by the time.kids are almost out of grade school each would be doing their own dishes and laundry, hell with cooking and what not.
Not to become slaves for.the parents mind you, but to help them become self reliant, and more independent.
Plus if them selves jobless and fall on hard times, those skills could come in handy to.earn extra income in the future.
