I think I need a mother

I always called my homies mom, ma. It's a good replacement, it worked for awhile. You could try that? Haha

My Mum was the one who did all the talking. She never learned how to listen.
So I learned to mother myself.

My sons are your age. They call me often just to chat.

I talk to my dog and strangers online here 🙂

Only a mom can be a mom...no substitute.

It would be. Not sure that's considered part of a parent's job anymore though, talking to their children - sadly concluded from having to work with hundreds of children for years :(
