Does anyone parents do this after a fight.?

I'm not saying they should keep being mad and hold a grudge but why after a big blow out fight and having a screaming match the next day they act like nothing happened. It makes it more awkward.

To clarify I meant my parents and I fighting not with each other.

@Noblety Yes. It's like I'm not a robot and don't have a reset button. After that, I need my space and they don't get that.
