Why do people post pics of themselves 10 years ago and expect us to believe its what they look like now?

Sometime people use a filter to remove imperfection, lighten/darken the skin or smooth the skin. You could be in your 30’s and they use these features to make themselves look 10 to 15 years younger. It’s easy to spot.
