Hey guys this question goes out to kids and teens I was just wondering if you where able to pick your punishment would you rather be spanked or grounded for 2 weeks and why?

Like others who have already answered, I never had a choice when I was a kid. My parents spanked, usually combined with a day or two of grounding. I hated getting spanked and I hated the short grounding, but at least then it was over and done with. Being grounded for 2 weeks would be far far worse. Missing doing stuff with friends, being stuck at home (and probably earning more spankings for bad attitude), etc. would quickly add up and make me wish I had been spanked instead.

@updown2020 We discipline our kids just about the same way that I was disciplined by my parents.
