Is my behaviour wrong?

I am 19 btw.
I have made new friends and i am going out with them all the time.
It is summer and so before i start work we go for breakfast.
My friend finishes work at 9pm and we hang out afterwards until midnight then I go home.

My parents think that I should be at home and I am being rude by leaving all the time. They even think that I am on drugs because I am out all the time!

I have depression and going out really helps to keep me mentally stable and social, which is a big pull factor for me.

I am always having to sneak past them whereas at my house I go and come whenever I please (I am visiting for the summer).

Am I being unreasonable going out with friends all the time?

Should I be allowed to?

I think there’ s a lot of room for compromise between always and never.

If you’re visiting your parents, then in my opinion you should spend time with them. Otherwise you are just using their house as a shower/change/sleep convenience.

You don’t have to spend ALL your time with friends or parents. Just because they’re parents doesn’t mean they don’t have feelings. You are their child, they love you and want to enjoy your company at least sometimes.
