Why didn't you want until you were old enough to get one?

If you're still a minor, you belong to your parents and have no business getting a tattoo unless they for some reason grant you permission. If you tell them you will likely be in deep trouble as you would have here or my son, if you don't tell them they'll catch you and you'll be in worse trouble.

Better to tell them then get caught not telling them.... Parents always find out eventually.
