Why do people

think that smacking a child is abuse? It's not. I grew up in a very abusive home yet some people think it's abusive. As long as it's not done all the time for every little thing and it's not harsh.

Classic cycle of abuse. You think it's okay to abuse children because you were abused.

@fazer1k unsure, @poet123 clearly disseminates between the experience of abuse and corporal punishment, hardly classic, hardly a cycle.

@SW-User I disagree. Parenting skills are what's needed here.

@fazer1k I agree parenting skills are needed, why isn't it a school subject, social behaviour and responsibility is as important as maths and English. What I'm saying is your statement is incorrect.

@SW-User You're entitled to your opinion.

@fazer1k No, it's not. There's a difference between beating a child which I endured and other torture than simple slap on the bottom.

@Poet123 Of course it's abuse. If you forcibly smack or slap a non-consenting adult it is classed as abuse and it should be no different for children.

@fazer1k it’s called disclipine. It abuse to let kids act like spoiled rotten brats.
