Why do people

think that smacking a child is abuse? It's not. I grew up in a very abusive home yet some people think it's abusive. As long as it's not done all the time for every little thing and it's not harsh.

Only in the worst of times do you ever smack the face even lightly. It does a lot of emotion/psychological damage.
As far as the rest goes, idk. I didn't really mind smacks and switches and belts. That pain fades pretty quickly in comparison to restriction and being grounded.

@SW-User Yes, but most damage was done before that. Its hard to explain. Violence is just natural for us.
