At what age should parents stop walking their children to the bus stop?

I have two daughters who are 12 and 10 years old. Every morning the three of us walk to the school bus stop together. Most of the other children who still walk with their parents are younger than my daughters.

There's nothing wrong with all three of you walking to the bus stop together. There should be more family togetherness in this world. If it were me, I would drive them to school and pick them up. I don't know if that is possible for you...but that's what I think of public schools. All it takes is one nut, one bully, or one kid with a gun.
