would you let a 17 year old be home alone for 2 weeks?

depends very much on that 17 yr old's level of maturity and common sense.

My oldest, she's 17 and real mature so yes.. she spends all summer at the camping aline from Monday to Friday cause she work as a life guard there. So I would not be scared to leave her home either

We left our 16 year old twins home for a week, they knew how to cook themselves nutritious meals and the neighbors checked in on them for us.

yeah if they've proven themselves responsible enough. I would leave them money and or groceries but yeah.

Depends on the 17 year old. Most of them? Absolutely not. Some of them you can actually trust? Sure.
