my dad is just like crazy. he is really egotistical and cold to me. him and i never have anything to talk about unless it’s an argument.
my mom on the other hand is just the opposite. i’m so grateful to have one 1/2 parents who are active and happy in my life

@peoplearestrange Your dad sounds like a pain :\

This is a hard on cause some trauma was cause of previous trauma the other one had caused so they basically intertwine
@CountScrofula that's life tho i guess
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@WittyKittyfeelinShitty Yeah, but life could ease the fuck up a little bit sometimes.
@CountScrofula eh true. @life fix up m8

my dad. just because being told what a fat, worthless piece of shit you are from the time you're 5 or 6 isn't usually the best thing for a kid.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@SW-User :( That hurts so much to read. Internet dad is never gonna pull that hateful, abusive shit on you.

@CountScrofula thanks internet dad
My birth mother.
i spent more time around her than the other.

My mum with all the yelling.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@SW-User :( My wife dealt with that but from her dad, and it did lasting damage.
SW-User
@CountScrofula The damage just builds the more they do it. I mean, at this point I don't really trust women to be kind and caring very much.

Neither of them qualify as parents.
KelseyR · 26-30, F
My parents didn't mess me up- and I wouldn't choose one over the other even if it was so. I'm an adult.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@KelseyR I'm a pretty healthy guy with great parents but pretty much everyone I've ever met, including senior citizens, have at least some neurosis brought on by their parents, even great ones.
KelseyR · 26-30, F
My dad is dead. My mom is a saint.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@KelseyR I'm sorry about your dad, but it's awesome your mom is a saint. My mother is amazing. Not everyone wins the mom lottery, glad you did :)

Pretty much a tie.
LyricalOne · F
@CountScrofula Well, you were talking about who messed me up the most.....
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@LyricalOne Yeah, true. :(
LyricalOne · F
@CountScrofula It’s okay, not too many people have perfect parents. Mine were just babies raising babies.
DancingShadows09 · 31-35, F
My fake mother because she's always a mean person to me :(
My mom, but my dad wasn't there enough to do any real messing up.
Blooo · 26-30, M
My dad, he was just worse than my mom lol

My Mom, but all my father figures sure didn't help
anoderod55 · 61-69, M
Mom ! she made me believe in doing the right thing . :-)
SW-User
Both of them equally
Neither, really. But my father has always been capable of apologizing when he gets it wrong. Mom says she will if she ever does. And there we are. 😅
Mrsbetweenfatandfit · 26-30, F
Step mom her back and forth from neglect to abuse
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@Mrsbetweenfatandfit :( Sorry to hear that. Hope you're doing okay now.
