music for example... there used to be cool bands like nirvana, smashing pumpkins, alice in chains...

but my kids listen to all this uncool stuff like rihanna and taylor swift...

Lol is different taste, you can’t change that. Just let them be. I am young too and my favorite bands are Nirvana, ACDC and RHCP is not a matter of generations just tastes.
