Did/do your parents ever use wacky expressions?

My mom is famous for this. One of them is, "Lord love a duck!"

Meowsolini: He had inherited wealth and was a journalist, there are many stories about him, but that one takes the cake...the fact that he was horse-whipped the next morning is something else...I guess the family was so embarrassed by what he did that they wanted to make sure he'd never come around there again.
