How did you teach your child(ren) to clean their room after they play?

i took there toys away for a day if they did not pick them up it worked but they was taught from a young age so in time it was just a natural thing for them to do

I showed them where they went when they were done. After a time they knew where to put them. Follow by example

with patience. you must remind them until they moved out 😅

I don't have any kids...but you could try singing Just a Spoonful of sugar...

My son has chores that he must do before he's allowed to do anything fun ...coz I'm a mean mom! 🙄

if toys were left out, we put them in a basket in the doorway between the living room and the kitchen, (a well traveled area from their bedrooms), and they weren't allowed to play with them for a week...eventually they figured it out

Be consistent...show them the routine then guide them through...don't give up and do it yourself no matter how slow or sloppy they are.

My parents use the belt when I don't do it.
