What is this? I believe they need to re-defer the "disciplinarian". People across the nations need to learn ABUSE is unacceptable! Be it verbal or physical! I raised my children to LOVE. To give as well as receive love.
I would greatly hope my Son and Daughter both know the difference. To know the giver of Love. To know that LOVE always out-weighs Discipline. To which I am quite objective to the "SHOW" of roll play in this hub.
*Do you not know our youths are coming in to maybe view your pictures or your photos as well as to read your comments? What say YOU, who forgets to unplug their lap top and later sees their kid reading words written by yourself? Then there are those that attempt to create spanking as a sexual, pleasurable, idea?
Go to your children's schools and find out just what THEY are teaching your kids. Learn how they will be giving disciplinary actions to YOUR Grand-Children.
The true question here should be...WHO is protecting our Youth?

@SW-User If abuse is not and should never be, Do schools have the RIGHT to physically discipline our young TEENS? We want our children to become responsible adults, Mine have grown up in a society I do not know. Yet they have incredible children of their own. I must have done something right! Yet before that lash goes to my childs backside I want to know. Don't leave ME, THE Parent, in the dark!

Children should NOT be spanked in School. They see it. They watch it and this gets in their little heads that it's perfectly OKAY. Because it's pleasurable. And they grow up wanting to seek the Pleasure they were introduced to. Can't we have alternate disapline for a child that misbehaves in their class?

My Country is U.S.A. I follow their laws and heir rules as much as I am able. I feel physical discipline should be abolished. What gives YOU the parent the RIGHT to hit when this has been abolished? Removing Capitol punishment from our schools teaches our YOUTH there are alternate options than becoming Physical.

@Carla1951 Sorry its not 1950 Thank God and our Teachers are not allowed to " Cane " our children or touch them , male or female I would go in and punch the shit out of them , I never spanked my children either , they were well behaved children ,she was simply asking peoples thoughts on this, and I showed her our laws in Canada , I don't even know what the hell "Canning " is and I don't think we had it in Canada it sounds like you lived in medieval days and am glad I live here lol

Section 43 of the Criminal Code of Canada allows the use of some physical force if the purpose is for disciplining a child under the age of 18. Only parents or people who are in the place of a parent (for example, a step-parent) can be excused if they use reasonable force on a child for discipline, so if you give your child a spanking within reasonable force , I guess if you leave a bruise or mark that's excessive force.

@InOtterWords my sister and her husband have never once touched their kids, and they're the best-behaved and most well-adjusted children I've ever seen in my life, and the contrast with previous generations in my family couldn't be more stark.
