I can’t believe it

Suddenly I am an orphan. My mom died this week, and I’m numb. I don’t care about anything right now. I have to fly back to Illinois later to look after arrangements. I know I will be okay, but it’s a lot to look after on my own. I know I will be okay financially too, because I know my Dad left quite an estate, and I have already talked too the lawyer. It would have been nice to be with Mom at the end though.
