I Am Not Very Close With My Relatives

It's pretty simple really. My real family is just me and my dad. But because I have to interest in following him in a career he has no interest in me. He's basically only interested in his company.
I sometimes think part of the reason he married my stepmom was to get me off his hands after we lost my mom. That and to seal a business deal.
The rest are my stepfamily and aside from one step cousin we don't get on at all.
