But on the bad news, just don't get involved unless it's something they ask help for. Even then, learned to treat their words like b.s. because honestly, integrity don't mean much to them. And the consequences of their own bad choices of lies would be theirs to bear.

It's like that line I read somewhere (credits to where it's originally from). Anyway, it says something along the lines of "Only look at another person's plate to see if they need more so you can add more. To give. Just for that. Not for any other reason."
But of course, be wise. Some lies to receive. Whether they speak truth or b.s. when they asked for help used to be a deal.
Now, I just stay put and let events take place. Getting involved with people with no integrity feels like lowering my own so I step aside.
