@Baremine I'm sorry, but that's rubbish, I have friends who have stood by me through thick & thin - likewise, I have family members who would just as soon as sell you down the river. You are making a big mistake, bailing your adult daughter out for her reckless actions & you do her no favours - just let her grow up.

Oh I have. She has had to work 2 jobs to pay me back. I just hope she has learned that her friends have destroyed her and that she is truly starting over.

@Baremine Her friends cannot be held responsible for her breaking the law (DUI), her marriage failing & for rehab' to treat an addiction. I think you need the reality check here, because your daughter chose to make those decisions herself & by the same token, you have chosen to pay for your daughter's mistakes. I just hope you're not too disappointed if she's not eternally grateful/in your debt.
