@originalGOS yeah, its important to keep close relationships (if you really want to enjoy life). Btw if you don't mind me asking why do you find it difficult to keep a close relationship with you extended family?

@cucupp Well, my mothers' side is mostly made of step or half family members, so I feel that natural connection just isn't there. Then my dads' side, well... I just don't like them.

@originalGOS thats true on my part as well, the reason is we lost connection with them long ago and its difficult to act as a family when you reconnect after a long time

I don't have an awful lot of relatives and those that I do have I'm not close with. My cousin didn't even invite me to his bloody wedding. Not that I'd loved going anyway, I just think it would have been appropriate for him to invite me.
