I Wish All Mothers A Happy Mothers Day

I hope all Mothers have a peaceful and loving day with their families 🙂

This is the first time I have spent Mothers' Day away from home. We have celebrated the day this morning with our surrogate mother at boarding school, Miss Thomas, who looks after us and cares for us while we are away from home. We brought breakfast to her apartment, so she could have a peaceful time listening to the radio, rather than sitting with us in a noisy dining room 🙄 Katya and I brought her freesias from the Channel Islands. The little girls have made her a collage of paper flowers that they will give her at our house meeting later today. Most of them have even showered and washed their hair, which is practically unheard of at the weekend 😄

Really the girls do not shower on the weekend? Oh can the girls only shower meaning their are no bathtubs?

@updown2020 Little girls see it as their duty to be as dirty as possible 🙄 There are bath tubs as well, but they are not popular because they are located in the middle of the bathroom with no privacy.

@TammieBear oh really little girls do not like to be clean? So that must be a problem to make sure they all shower a few times a week.

@updown2020 It is a problem. They are supposed to have a shower or bath every week day, but they try not to so Katya and I have to stand in the bathroom to make sure that they come into contact with water 😟

@updown2020 I sometimes have to be at the entrance to the showers and make sure that all the girls go in and that they stand under the water. It is not the most fun way to spend your evening 😟

@updown2020 They are just too lazy 😒 It is stupid. If they showered when they were supposed to, they could do it quickly and get on with other stuff, but this way they have to get undressed and washed in front of the other girls 😟
