Your mother sounds like she was a wonderful person and you'll no doubt always miss her. I'm really sorry for your loss.

I am glad to hear your father (another wonderful person) is doing well and family members are staying in touch and helping him out. I'm also glad others were available to provide support when you needed it. It's a blessing to have such good people in your life.

Hope you're feeling a bit better since you posted this.

I imagine you will always miss her too, Bijoxu, and always see and hear things you wish you could share with her. It's been a little over 6 years since my dad's death, and I know those things will always be true for me.

I know how hard these these anniversaries are for many of us, and my heart feels for you. 🫂

While you'll always remember and the loss never leaves, over time some of the grief slowly dissipates.

Been close to 25 years now, since my mother passed away. Ten years longer for my father.

such kind words for your sw friends...my mom passed on march 7 2022. but she was admitted to hospital jan 12 of that year and never came back home...the first 3 months of every year kind of sucks for me and i hate hospitals because of it (my dad died march 1 2009)...but having read other posts of yours it is clear you have had close family ties and have had wonderful parents, just as i have had awesome parents.... lol..on a funny note my dad would have been 83 this year and he would have flipped his lid on all the political stuff going on right now

Coming up on one year for my dad...and just passed 17 for mom...

I am sure moms was the glue that kept the family together and it shows as everyone is doing for pops …stay strong as she would be proud of you

I'm glad you had a mother you liked. I was happy when my abusive mother died. Not out of wickedness. Just enormous relief knowing the torment was over.

She`s still with you.
