November Always Makes Me Feel That.

Mum died in November, many years ago now....still in recent history, but long enough ago for the pain to ease.

So, always quite thoughtful and reflecting during this month and her sudden death.

For those that know me, reaching this age - 55 - for me has been a bit of a thing, as mum passed away from an alcohol/drug related heart attack at 54.

And, this month - as well as her birth month - always gets me reflecting.

Caring, loving, warm. All in her own ways. Certainly unique. We had fun together.

My Mum passed away in November as well as my brother. November is typically a gloomy month but I try to make it positive... I usually wish the month away and look forward to the fresh blanket of snow that December brings.
I hope you get through your month and remember happy times.

I lost my Mum a few years ago. Great loss, great pain, great love, great fun and great memories. We are lucky we had such a Mum.

I feel the same this month. Always sad. Then reminded of the drink and drug binge that I had to get over it.

Sue was special.

I miss her too.

I am so sorry for your loss. Both of my parents are gone now too.
