Talking with mother

I have been fortunate, if that’s the word, that I have been close to my parents, especially to my mother who has always lived as an example to me of my biological future. She taught me how my body works and how I would change as I got older, and with my father, she taught me about puberty. It was one of the various factors that helped me to take the scientific stream at school and thereby become interested in agriculture and how science, especially chemistry. I am a chemist with a deepening passion for how we can get a better yield from our crops without any long term effects on the environment or the human gene pool.

Tall order! My parents have inspired me to make the effort and I am grateful to the team I work with now who are developing along the lines I was when working in Odesa.

My mother is an educator, and I have a leaning towards being a teacher too which explains how I have become team leader and manager at the laboratory where I work in almost no time at all. There is so much I owe to my mother, to both my parents, which is why it is so much a deep joy whenever I get to talk with her, with them.
