12 years ago yesterday I lost one of the greatest, most beautiful souls I’ve ever known—my memaw 🤍 my dad’s mom.

My dad and I didn’t always have the best relationship, but one thing I’ll never forget is how she always showed up for me. She was steady, loving, and so incredibly selfless my whole childhood and right up until I was 24.

I’m so proud to be her granddaughter. I miss her every single day. Thank you, memaw, for everything 🤍
