I’m grateful I have a family who cares about me

And that I’m not in the street because I haven’t been able to hack life on my own yet. They drive me crazy about my clothing choices and can be controlling and critical about small things that don’t matter ( I thought they would have learned their lessons after my dealing with cancer.) but they never let me go without my needs being met and protect me from an even more brutal world. Eventually I will have to navigate the world on my own but they are slowly transitioning me to that to have supports in place because of my mental health challenges and cancer. My sister is home too transitioning her life over again to a different career field waiting for civil service exams to open up again and get recruited for the police academy. My family helps each other through everything. They are very close knit. We wouldn’t let our vulnerable slip through the cracks and not help when someone is down.
