I have a soft spot for my youngest niece because when my sisters health dipped and she couldn't even get up to pick her up, I really stepped up.

Granted I was around 15 then but that didn't stop me.

She's gonna be 12 tomorrow 😭 my lil baby. I mean they're all my babies but still.

That's what families do, good for you!
I had to take care of my mother when severe health issues left her a paraplegic in the last year of her life and, just a year later, I moved my father in with me to take care of him due to Dementia setting in...it has been 6 years now.
Is it easy? No
But it is what should be done. They sacrificed for me, so it has been my honor and responsibility to do the same for them.
Not looking for accolades for doing what is right, just making other people aware that you should always make your family your first priority, even if you must sacrifice some parts of your own life to do so
@BearLeeDangLing if it can done, sure. Circumstances run differently for people. It's not easy as I'm sure you already know
@HijabaDabbaDoo I had no idea what dementia would do to a person and the challenges it creates.
I wouldn't recommend that people try to do this on their own. I am a strong person but I am often tested to my limits and have to step away and remind myself that my father is no longer himself and does not have the ability to realize what is taking place.
Most difficult thing I think anyone could deal with.😞
