Pop is now 93, and when I finally reached him, we FaceTimed for about an hour. He was working in his garden, which he loves, and I remember the last time I helped him (and was later sent home with bags of fresh veggies). I will be going to visit soon, but I call him at least once a week. He sounded great. My niece had baked him a cake, and she and her mother prepared a good supper.
