@beermeplease LOL! It's a hands on construction company!!! Gotta work in the cold! That's why me and my kids are getting our hard working husband and son electric heated sweaters for Christmas to keep them warm in the cold! 🥶

@KentuckyWildcats Because before he started working there; if you worked there for a year you automatically got to go on the company vacation for free, then they said no! So my husband had to pay out of his own pocket to take him...He even worked there for 10 years and I wasn't going so years previously if I didn't go my husband got to bring a plus one which was my daughter, so when I wasn't going a couple years ago, my son was supposed to be his plus one! But then they said no again!!!! Then at the beginning of the month he asked for a raise, and they ususally give raises at the Christmas parties, and he didn't get one...The only reason why others surpass him in raises is because they have liscenses, and can drive! He can't because he has epilepsy and is lucky to have a job! He is a very hard worker, a glorified laborer! He knows how to hang a door, he knows how to do dry wall, he knows how to build a deck, he paints, he does difficult jobs that require skill. he knows his math, he is a hard worker....So him winning had to be a gift from God!

I can sympathize.

I had a younger brother that suffered from epilepsy. It began when he was 9 yrs old with his 1st seizure and my mother thought he was choking on something. He suffered from gran mal (sp) seizures until his death at age 26. He drowned standing on the bank of Rough River Lake in KY fishing early one Sunday morn. He suffered a Gran Mal and fell head 1st into the shallow water. Other fisherman found him with his head submerged in 6" of water. He also could not own a car nor drive. He held a full time position, had a GF and had many friends.

He has grand mal seizures too once every 3 weeks to 3 months....Your message really really touched me, like your brother he loves fishing too, I am so so sorry for your loss! My heart goes out to you!! God bless you and your loved ones, including him!
