I Remember Dancing With My Mom

I also remember her darker moments as a divorced mom of 5 crazy kids in the late 70s.

I remember a day from the way back when this song was on when I came home from school and found her weeping on the couch all curled up.

I was about 10 at the time.

I hugged her close, and told her it was alright.
Mostly because that's what she did for me when I cried.

Then I put on her favorite Beatles album on the record player, and we danced in the kitchen.
I remember her smile.....

Do you know why she got divorced? Moms. They are so loving. They sacrifice and never complain. Here's to moms.

@PoetryNEmotion I know why.
It was not the first time I danced.
But that was not the first time you danced? I mean in general.

What a lucky mum

@SW-User I'm me because of her.
She was the uppermost influential person in my life, and I couldn't ever repay her for all she's done for me and my sisters and brother.

My mom never tried to teach me this, but she taught it to me anyway just by who she was and how she handled everything.

Caring Moms are the most beautiful heroes a man will ever meet.

She also taught me how to cry alone and unseen....
But that's a longer story...
