That 3:30am phone call “Super Bowl Sunday”

I got a call today at 3:30am and it was from my dad. Of course I’m thinking all kinds of bad things and am really nervous. So i answer and it’s my dad asking me if I’m up yet and if I’m excited about the game.

Go to sleep old man. 🤣

I know how you feel. Yesterday I got off work at noon, and my brother text me, Are you off work already? I text back, why. Then I called him 2 seconds later. He answers I said, what's wrong? He says, oh no nothing I just wanted to see if you were off work 😡

I hate crap like this because my anxiety is already through the roof. Dad getting injured and ending up in the hospital, worrying about other relatives getting into car accidents, all I do is worry. Then to get a text like that, it came off as, OH MAN HURRY HURRY!!! SO AND SO IS IN ICU!! Or he'll text me about something he's doing, but he'll send like 5 texts in a row, when he could have sent one single text.
