I Love My Cousin

I am staying with cousin Rhiannon on her family's farm as I do every summer.

We are good friends and we chat a lot on the phone, but in person things do not click as they used to. She has become quite a moody and negative teenager and I have limited patience for her attitude to family and life in general 😟 I love visiting her home because there are hundreds of acres of wilderness to roam in and a river to mess about on. But she doesn't much care for the outdoors and hates getting dirty, so I have to do these things on my own 🙄

Yesterday was pretty good and we were up for ages chatting in bed last night. But today she is more withdrawn and I am having difficulty connecting with her and wondering how we are going to pass the next three days if she doesn't want to do anything 😟

I love her lots, but she needs to give something back 🐻

@Snuffy1957 She has a lot of teenage angst 😟 I am the same age as her and experience many of the same things, but they are massively inflated when they happen to Rhiannon 🙄

@liondog We went swimming in the river, which I thought she would never agree to do. So we've had a good day after all 🙂
