I have brilliant kids

All day I was avoiding the discussion about going to the pub when we closed. Just before closing time who comes in, my kids.

I serve them. My daughter leans in to me and whispered "We thought you might need an excuse to not go to the pub". I nearly cried.

I also had missed a call and a voice message that just floored me. My daughter loves theatre. A friend said he had a contact, so we're off this weekend to a big panto and will get a backstage tour.

I love my kids.
