its just hard questions time with my kids

today my 4 year old asked me something i knew was coming. Hes a twin and his twin was lost in the womb when i was still in first trimester. He knows about it and in the pictures on the living room wall of all my kids as newborns theres one more a sonogram picture of him and his twin at my first sonogram. He asked me if one these twins were going to die before birth too. I took him to my bedroom and we set there and I tried to explain the best I could to my son that doesn't always happen and we hope it doesn't happen this time too. Best thing to do is pray

He will understand it more a he gets older. Don’t stress about it now.

Praying will help with peace of mind. Medical science will help with the rest.

@Mountainlady16 It’s not about keeping the knowledge from him, it’s about him being old enough to understand.
We have had similar discussions with our kids. Our daughter is 5 and our son is 6. Born our kids were born via IVF due to difficulty getting pregnant.

@Mountainlady16 Your son will understand the basic concept of what happened.
