My daughter just moved

She was in a bad place and the landlord never got the cockroach problem under control. The end result was her losing most of her electronics and half her furniture because of the infestation.

Today she’s coming here with a truck and I’m giving her my living room set, some end tables and a couple of book cases.
( My Adidas are going to be pissed when I put them on the floor)

I have no idea how I’m replacing anything because I also gave her most of my emergency money to get into the new place?
But I’d do anything for her and my grandsons.

Besides, I live alone and friends never drop by.
The plan for now is to get out my inflatable mattress and use my extra pillows for a couch and maybe find something on FB Marketplace at the end of the Spring or this summer?

Either way, I’m just glad she’s at a better place and my grandsons won’t have to deal with the old place anymore.

Whatever it takes…, right?
