Talking with my daughter in the bath

Chiara and I have shared a bath after coming in from the day, and we have been having a good chat about the next few months. I have spoken about when the baby comes and how nothing can ever change our relationship but we will have a new member of our family and I think she will be a wonderful helper for me with the baby, that it can be very exhausting for me and so I will very much need her help.

She understands that and she has been talking with a friend at school who’s Mama had a late baby 👶 and how she has helped out so her Mama can cope with everything. She said she’s looking forward to her new brother or sister coming and seeing just what she is able to do to help. I am pleased that she has spoken with her peers because it means she is adjusting to the prospects of helping me out.

We are both naked still with out hair wrapped before we will blow dry a little before we put on our aprons to begin with the vegetables that are being added to the cubed steak and onions we are going to have in a northern-style variant on the French fricassee. We adapt it to include a good ragu sauce but we don’t add pasta to it. I believe it necessary for nutrition to make one or two meals a week with red meat 🥩.
