Last volleyball game for my daughter.

Today is my daughter's last volleyball game. I just couldn't make her keep playing when she doesn't want to. It's not what I want it's what she wants and needs. I'm so proud of her. We're going to eat at Danny's burgers after the game to celebrate and come home and watch the Royals game outside with a fire and s'mores. After the kids are asleep Joel and I will enjoy some tequila and cigars.

Parenting isn't easy, and it sounds like you're doing a great job. 👊

@calicuz thanks but sometimes I don't feel like I am. But I just can't make her keep playing. And honestly deep down I'm glad because I wasn't looking forward to her games being on Sundays now

I understand, i remember you original post on the subject, so maybe you can do something special for her on Sundays for her very selfless decision.

@calicuz she says she wants to learn to play the cello so I'm going to get her one so she can practice

That's awesome, when she grows up that will be so satisfying to her, something she can be proud of.
"Great job dad!!!" 👊
