My child asked for another piece of candy & I said “no, you’ve had enough for tonight…” she replied “don’t be rude today, please give me more candy”😐

Maybe it's just me, but I don't think kids should get away with talking like that to their own parent. If so, it begins to get out of hand and even worse as they grow older. It's just not respectful and even children should show their parents respect. I don't see it as cute or funny.
