tonight under my supervision my 6 year old made dinner almost totally by herself just hamburgers and homestyle fries but most kids twice her age cant even do that.

That's great and so true some kids wouldn't be allowed or couldn't cook and your a great mom with your help as your daughter grows and still loves to cook will be more independent or even become a chef

@icewolf yeah we grow alot stuff in our own garden but what we dont usually we get from the produce stand
@Mountainlady16 that's even better you definitely need to be proud of yourself too as some moms wouldn't even encourage there children to cook or go near a cooker and your giving your daughter the best chance in life

@icewolf i will say this her school starts cooking lessons in kindergarten
@Mountainlady16 that is really good all kindergarten should do that all schools too as children need to learn cooking and other lessons but to be able to cook is essential to everyone and what's right for the body and what's not right for us
