My daughter today

“Why do we remember things mommy?”

Me: “ummmm because brains”

She did not look satisfied with my answer… Haha
Tell her that that is a good question and that you will have to search it and then google it together. Then read with her the answer

@PepsiColaP “ When we learn something—even as simple as someone's name—we form connections between neurons in the brain. These synapses create new circuits between nerve cells, essentially remapping the brain.”

Bit advanced for a 4yr old haha
@WaryWitchWandering dont underestimate them haha

Should have told her, because we eat our vegetables .
Scribbles · 36-40, F
@SW-User That could backfire. The first time you forget something any child is going to be watching your veggie intake and saying "You need to eat more vegetables so you don't forget things!" Later they will wonder why the increase in veggies didn't do anything. 😂

Kids ask tough questions!
WaryWitchWandering · 36-40, F
@JimboSaturn I was sitting there like “wellll shit”
Spumoni · 46-50, M
"I forgot. What were you asking?"

Kids are smart. Look it up together with her when you have a free moment and then you can explain it and clarify anything or answer questions.
newuser188 · 26-30, M
tell her we remember things because they are special to us
Scribbles · 36-40, F
@newuser188 Oh no. Don't say that. What if you forget something important! 😂 You'd be screwed, man.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
Omg she needed me in that conversation, i'd blow her mind 😩
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
Because....of......?
WaryWitchWandering · 36-40, F
