Afternoon update

So as I was getting ready to take Sissy out to do some shopping and she asked if we could grab some lunch. After everything the other day, I still feel terrible that she had to see me so upset the other day at the hospital, so of course I said yes.


While we were gone, TT decided he wanted a snack. He went digging through the fridge and found the pickles. I completely forgot to hide them after Link had some the other day… so naturally, TT ate them.
A little later, our buddy caught him finishing off the last pickle and knelt down to his level.
“TT… did you eat the pickles?”

“Yes. I like them.”

Then his eyes got wide. “Oh no… I forgot.”
He immediately put both hands behind his backside and very seriously said:
“Don’t worry, Uncle… I'll hold in my farts all day.”


Our Buddy was trying so hard not to laugh.
“I don’t think that’s a very good idea, buddy. Why don’t we see if your dad wants to sit outside for a little while, and you can play out there? Then if you have to do that, you won’t bother anybody.”

TT nodded thoughtfully and said:
“I think that idea better. I don’t think I could hold them in all day.”

Kids really do know how to make you laugh when you need it most
